What is Asset Management?
Asset Management is the process where one acquires, maintains, and trades investments that have potential to grow further in order to increase one’s overall wealth. We, as Asset Managers, provide this service for our clients with the promise that the investments will grow at an acceptable rate to the client. We can provide the client with an opportunity to investment in a variety of investment vehicles that will meet their needs given their financial goals.
What is taken into account when it comes to Asset Management?
With Asset Management, it is critical to identify the client’s goals and decide whether this would be a good option for them. If the answer is yes, we would first need to discover more about our client:
- What is their risk tolerance?
- What is an acceptable return in their eyes?
- Do they have a specific deadline for these investments?
- Are there certain fields or markets in which they would like to invest in?
All of these questions are important as they allow us to formulate an investment strategy and portfolio that suits our client’s needs. While our clients may have a myriad of financial goals, Asset Management can be used to help address and accomplish these goals. Ultimately, Asset Management is a device that can be used to help our clients reach their financial goals more efficiently.
